Returns & Refund Policy

Birkenstock accepts returns and exchanges that are initiated within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, navigate to the Returns Instructions page of the Birkenstock website and submit your order number, email address and ZIP code. Products must be in their original condition and packaging. When your return is received, you’ll be refunded through your original payment method within two to three weeks.. Shipping charges from your order are nonrefundable.

Cancellation Policy

Orders cannot be canceled once they are placed, but unwanted items can be returned by following the return policy.

Price Matching & Adjustments

If an item goes on sale within seven days of purchase, Birkenstock will honor the new price. Partial refunds take two to three business days to process.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Standard shipping through UPS Ground is free (with a free Birkenstock membership) for full-price items and $4.95 for sale items. Shipping is free for sale items ordered with a full-price item. UPS Ground shipping takes between two to five business days to deliver after one to two business days of processing. UPS 2 Business Day Select, $25 to the continental U.S. and $30 to Alaska and Hawaii, must be placed by noon ET to ship the same day.

Pickup Options

If you live within 50 miles of a Birkenstock flagship store, you’ll have the option to pick up your order in store. The four store locations are Birkenstock Soho (120 Spring St., New York, NY 10012), Birkenstock Brooklyn (70 N. 6th St., Brooklyn, NY 11249), Birkenstock Venice (1208 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice, CA 90291) and Birkenstock Marin (1019 Larkspur Landing Circle, Unit 6C, Larkspur, CA 94939).

On orders of $35 to $2,000, Birkenstock offers Afterpay as a buy now, pay later option at checkout. With Afterpay pay in 4, you’ll pay the first installment at the time of purchase then subsequent payments every two weeks.
